My background is in pharmaceuticals, mostly the unglamorous but important bits between making a medicine and actually getting it into a market: business development, regulatory affairs, licensing and commercial operations.

I studied at the University of Amsterdam, and before Emona Biopharma I worked in pharma business development.

Amsterdam for university, pharma business development after that, and then Slovenia, where I co-founded Emona Biopharma. Ljubljana has been feeling more like home every year.

Outside work, I have a habit of starting things. Websites, tools, companies, experiments, usually because I run into something unnecessarily complicated and wonder whether it could be done better. The current list is under night projects.

I like sailing because it's where I can disconnect from land, mentally and physically.
